Quick loop in the N west.

This week was a great one filled with super friends, family and awesome mountain places. Laura and I took off from our bustling home town of Ashford, WA bound for Bozeman, Montana. Our first stop was Rathdrum, ID to bum a short but great night sleep at my Uncle and Aunt's.  We had a quick morning visit over coffee then we were back on I- 90 bound for bozone. In the soon to be home town we had a chill afternoon with our dear friend Anne Gilbert. The next day provided great climbing around the dribbles area. Just me and two of my favorite ladies out for some medieval warfare in Hyalite Canyon. The same evening one of my closest friend and climbing partners Jason Thompson and our pals Chad Peele and Rob Curran all arrived for the weekend. We enjoyed a posse of 7 folks adding our local man Garrett Stevens, with the sun shining and the air warm for mid december in Montana.  We had an unforgettable time. On monday JT Gilbert and I had an enjoyable day climbing and rigging some ropes for JT to shoot some photos.

Following my great stay in Bozeman I went south to Victor, Idaho to meet up with my friend Greg Collins to  do some skiing in Teton National Park. We climb Teewinot East face Left to 3,800m.  Great day with friends old and new.   I got lucky on my way back to Washington by having a great dinner and night of rest at my folks' house.
